Help Support the KPBS Zombie Pledge Drive

I remember when my local PBS station wanted to raise money. They got as inventive as a Red Dwarf marathon and tote bags as incentive. Well, KPBS in San Diego has blown all other PBS pledge drives out of the water with their very funny, very creative, and very well-produced ZOMBIE PLEDGE DRIVE.

In their tongue-in-cheek pledge drive, KPBS asks you to remember that time when San Diego was invaded by the living dead. Remember how KPBS was on the scene, giving you the latest in breaking news? Perhaps you didn't have TV during the crisis. Well, the following two videos will give you a sample of KPBS' coverage of the undead invasion and remind you how you can do your part to prepare KPBS for the next zombie plague.

If public broadcasting during the zombie apocalypse is important to you, please think about donating to KPBS. A donation as small as $5.00 will provide a gallon of gas for the KPBS News Van, whereas a donation of $25, 000 will allow KPBS to get that mounted mini-gun. As a thank-you for donating $120.00 or more, you can get a gift: an Eton FR160 Self powered, AM/FM/NOAA Weather Radio with Flashlight, Solar Power, and Cell Phone Charger.
