DOC OF THE DEAD to Infect Hot Docs Film Festival

What better place than Toronto -- the home of the first ever recorded "zombie walk" -- for a documentary about zombie culture to have its International Premiere?

Alexandre O. Philippe's "definitive zombie culture documentary" Doc of the Dead will be infecting the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Film Festival and raising corpses from their graves for its International Premiere: Saturday, April 26th at 12am midnight.

Brought to the screen by the makers of THE PEOPLE vs. GEORGE LUCAS and shot and edited in a cinematically edgy, high-octane style, DOC OF THE DEAD hosts a rich pop culture dialogue with zombie experts and celebrities, such a George A. Romero and Simon Pegg, and investigates the possibility and ramifications of an actual zombie outbreak.
